Hi Graham, thought I replied on this.

You can pay the events account and let me and Nat know.
Or you can pay cash on the day.
I'm happy to invoice the clubs if needed.

Training ends at 5pm.
Evening do starts at 7.30pm - but given there's about 100 people coming, I'm sure you can be a little later. We'll be there all night.

Parking

Helpful lady on the phone today warned that the sports centre's parking is first come first serve, and with all the events they have on at the same time that we're there, it is unlikely there will be spaces still free by 10am.

I'll enquire tomorrow about options for booking parking at Sophia Gardens pay&display, and Glamorgan Cricket Club. I'll update this post with details. I'll be asking about minibus and car. Those were the helpful lady's suggestions. Please say if you have already enquired, or if you have the inside track on better parking options.

ETA (Fri 4 Nov): I've emailed the council about the P&D, and the cricket club. I'll update this post when I hear back.

ETA (Mon 7 Nov): no responses and no phone answer from officials in the council and cricket club. Happily, Tom has sorted Talybont parking so I'll go with that :)

Thanks Graham,

I've asked to see if people are able to park at the University Sports Centre in Talybont - it's about a 20 minute walk to Sophia Gardens though :/ - but it's free!

Could clubs bring along a range of weapons please?

"a range of weapons" not "ranged weapons"

I'll make sure the Cardiff weapon's cupboard is emptied.

Thanks. I don't know what ranged weapons means - other than BBQ tongues and skewers maybe!

Is that what the caterers are offering instead of the fish? :P

I'm a qualified instructor with regards to ranged weapons so I'm happy to take the Dans and Browns through this in the bar on Saturday night :-)

Thanks to those who contacted me about the fish-option.

If I've not heard from you I have allocated you the pan-fried version instead of deep-fried.

There will be some additional meals available - hopefully there's enough for everyone!
