Accom:

The accommodation in the sports centre is fully booked now, according to the lady on the phone.
Also, Travelodge M4 claims to be fully booked on its website. Travelodge website can be overzealous at claiming to be fully booed, so if you're patient with different quantities and room types, you might have more success.

A venue just outside the city centre. But very close to the training facilities. It's called Chapter (Arts House).

Just to confirm Tom- Imperial will let you know numbers tomorrow (and meals). So far it's about 14 (including instructors) plus 6 judoka from France (don't double count them if Hannah is also telling you about those guys!). Big push at training tonight so we hope to confirm more.

Seven judoka from France, their meal choices are:

3 Beef Burger
3 Chicken Curry with Rice and Nan
1 Vegetarian Curry with Rice and Naan

Winchester are looking at 8-12 people coming, I've asked our student president to email you and confirm, hope that's OK.

Thanks for the information everyone. Great to hear people are travelling from France to attend too.

I need to put the food order in on Monday - if you don't let me know it's Chicken Curry (maybe Veg) using your estimated numbers :)

Thanks to everyone for getting their club numbers (and meal options) for the nationals together on time.

Undoubtedly there will be some waifs and strays, they are of course welcome, but we can't guarantee them a meal at the evening event. There will be a small contingency (but that means no 2nd for anyone).

I've received final numbers from the following clubs:
St Albans, Bedford, Basingstoke, Cardiff, St Athans, Harrow, Jimmy, Keele, 7 French Judoka, Winchester, Imperial, Kentish Town

DMU is preparing final transport arrangements.

If your club isn't on the list - I've either lost your email or you've not confirmed final numbers yet.

I'll be contacting the venue first thing on Monday morning, to confirm our booking!

Well done everyone for getting me the numbers promptly!

What are the payment arrangements …
- do clubs need to pay into the Events account by a certain day? Who should they email to confirm?
- will someone be taking cash on the day for anyone not paid beforehand?

What time is the evening event? Just figuring out if we should prep people to shower and go straight to the party while just a couple of us go to deal with hotel check in, or whether there is a hiatus for people to get ready.

I'm guessing it's the former … especially as Imperial are staying at a place that's the other side of Bridgend!! So I also need to know how fast I need to get back to claim my curry
